Hopelessness sets in because it feels like there is an insidious and heretofore unknown major problem that will prevent me from EVER getting pregnant (3 IUIs and 2 IVFs already failed; am currently waiting for FET results). At least if I knew that the problem were "only" with tubes, or eggs, or sperm, we would know exactly what needed to be done to address or circumvent those problems. When you're in the dark, you feel like you're just fruitlessly shooting in the dark.
