Hi,
I am 27 years old. I have two children my son is 10yrs and my daughter is 7yrs. I had an etopic pregnancy on 01/31/11 my left ovary ruptured and was clipped. I was told that me and my husband would be able to try agian in 3 months. We have but, before that pregnancy we tried for 3 years. ” this is my second marrige”.
My children are from my prevous marrige. He got some testing done and we found out he has a low sprem count, low mobility, and they die pretty fast. However, his doctor stressed it wasn’t as bad and we should try and see. He stated taking a pill called Volume which has lost of natural nutrients and vitamins. 2 months after I concived found out I was pregnant a week later at 6 weeks my left ovary ruptured(1/31/11).
Question: Will ferterlity treatment increase my chances of ovulations since I only the right ovary attached to my uterous? Also, when you ovulate do your ovaries normally alterate from side to side every month? My cycles are very consistent I track them. Every 24-26 days and last about 2-3 days light flow.
My husband is going to start the pills agian to see if that will increase his sprem count, mobility ,a nd life.

I was wondering if you could offer any advice. I am 25 years old and diagnosed with PCOS and endometriosis. I will be starting med school this fall and was wondering with my diagnosis, does it make a difference to try a have a baby now or wait until after medical school? I asked my own GYN, but she said that I shouldn’t worry about it- I found that answer to be very unhelpful. What would you advise?
That said, my older sister (12 years my senior) with the same issues was unable to conceive after many IVF cycles and ended up adopting 3 wonderful children. Should I expect the same outcome?
Thank you

Question for you… I am a healthy, 41 1/2 year old woman with an AMH of <0.16; antral follicle count of 4-5 (based on a hysteroscopy exam); an an FSH level of 13.9. I will be using donor sperm.
Frankly, after two + years and multiple IUI's, my doctors indicate my "last hope" is IVF. From what we have read, my numbers are not good at all. Considering the high cost of IVF, we are debating whether we should even bother with IVF or go straight to adoption. What are the statistics of probability that IVF will work for someone with my numbers? I haven't really been able to find good sites with stats specific to 40+ year old women trying to conceive.
Thank you

Hello. I am 30 years old. I have had 5 miscarriages. I am actually afraid to be with my husband intimately now out of fear of getting pregnant and loosing another baby. I am seeing someone about my fear. My doctors say that I keep loosing the pregnancy is due to my hormones being out of whack. Due to family history of cancer they will not put me on hormone therapy. They are just telling me I should keep trying. I am in the process of getting healthy and taking prenatal vitamins every day as ordered by my ob.gyn. Is there anything else I can do to help myself overcome my newfound fear of intimacy and to be able to keep my baby?
